Festival lineup!

This year’s festival is Permitted! We are proceeding with the blessing of the city and have even received honors from two of SF’s Supervisors, Eric Marr and Ross Mirkirimi. Many thanks to them and to you for showing up on your bike, ready to power SF’s greenest and most dynamic music festival ever!

Highlights include:

Sean Hayes — One of SF’s most beloved rockers. Sean stuck with us last year when our arrival at Dolores was delayed by two hours, even playing acoustic for the waiting crowd, then busted out with an awesome pedal powered set.  Be there to pedal power Sean and his band this time as he breaks it down in the hot sun at Speedway Meadows! See Sean and Ezra Lipp performing “turnaroundturnmeon” at last year’s festival.

Fast forward to 2:04:

Judgement Day — Hard rock, virtuosic string talent. See the video and get hooked:

Spaceheater — Compelling, intelligent hard-hitting, instrumental jazz / hip hop instrumental act. Part of the acclaimed Jazz Mafia.

Tri Tip Trio is the explosive 3-man version of zydeco legends: The Zydeco Flames. You may have heard about their recent incendiary performance at the New Parish in Oakland opening for the California Honeydrops… they practically blew the roof off the place everyone was hollering so loud and dancing so hard. They recently won the “Best World/International Band” North Bay Music Award.

Diana Gameros — A voice like honey, playing original and classic latin songs with percussion and stand up bass. Hailing from the Mission District, she brought the house down at Mission Community Market’s opening party on June 19, the day we originally planned BMF this year!

5PM, LiveOnBike ride to Showplace Triangle (16th St & Wisconsin).  LiveOnBike entertaining is an awesome new format that includes custom designed party bikes like “El Arbol”, shown below.’

Promoting a show on El Arbol

The Get Back is a dynamic hip hop act from Oakland. They broke it down on the Pedal Powered Stage at Maker Faire earlier this year and we had to have them back. Download their amazing mix tape and get hooked!
